 A Tale of Lockdown Gamers

The Cricket Club Knights - Chapter 1 Orctober

"So it begins"

                                               King Théoden of Rohan

So the results for the first fortnight are in; October was a short or rather a half month for The Tale of Lockdown Gamers and we are still not sure we are doing this monthly or fortnightly. However this old Dwarf should not digress, we have some painted minis to discus!

Now with my own stuff and that of the Tabletop Hobby Crew we will look at these minis in more detail later, so I will add ours in last and this will become the regular format. I've been a bit of a hobby butterfly this last few weeks, so there is a bit of work to get these minis into the blog on their own.

Mullins Call sign; (Ringer)  This Month: 7

Validating our claims on "Orctober"; Mullins (Ringer) has been busy with some Morannon Orcs. Ringer is a Big BIG Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game fan. Rumour has it hes got more orcs than Sauron himself...

I think particular mention should go to the fantastically textured metalwork on these. I'll explain his technique a little more in the November Post.

This months progress includes a set of 7 Morannon Orcs, Continuing his experimentation with Contrast paints, Ringer has to get these guys out there efficiently! he has 29 orcs left to do, and "He has a Cave Mordor Troll!"

Andy: Call sign; (Mr Brown)  This Month 0

So Mr Brown hasn't yet broken into the paints, and soo technically he scores a big fat doughnut for this month, but hes lining up a mega score next month! working on this mega project "Sump Sea Board" for Necromunda. Here are some images of his progress on that.

Tristan: Call sign; (Tank) This Month 26

Well it is probably easier to list the minis Tank hasn't Painted this month.
We have 5 Imperial Archers for Warhammer Fantasy, 12 Classic Cadians in a classic colour combo, and 4 Ogryns (Tristan rather generously only took 2 points per ogryn) plus this rather scary fella...

Crikey!

The Gang all together

Now hes also been doing some recon on an upgrade on his current Chimera. a little go on this old Spartan around rural Englandshire may have convinced him, but im not sure the Mrs was happy with the old armour value.

Needs a Dozer Blade and a Hunter Killer Missile if you ask me...

A lovely day in the corps/

RossCall sign; (Reaper)  This Month 0

Its the busy season for Reaper...
Nothing this month but rumour has it that Mrs Reaper has provided consent to bring the paints "downstairs" - it must be love!

MikeCall sign; (Moves)  This Month 10

I think rather than post too many pics of the work done this month I suggest you pick up the links to teh bottom of this post, where you can see not only Moves minis in more detail, but also the rest of the crew at his club.
