Derz a noo Orc in Town! Gruk GutSplita meanest Orc War Boss of the Badlands! A small side project that I’ve been tackling in between keeping the wife happy and looking after the little snotlings (kids). I wanted a simple table top standard paint job that looked good as well captured the right Orc’y feel. I’ve always loved the background surrounding the badlands and the Orcs living there. I mostly use GW paints and try to not create colours or shades only using the colours provided in pots. The skin tone was done with a base coat of Waagh Flesh followed by a good covered of Beil tan Shade. Next step was to layer up a good solid coat of Warboss Green allowing the undertone to come through in the recesses. It’s as Duncan says: 2 thin coats using water to thin down your paints!
