  Warhammer Fantasy Tomb Kings - Necrolith Colossus  I was always on the lookout for a model to represent the Necrolith Colossus in my Tomb Kings army. When the Hobbit spotted a 3D printed model on eBay and ran out of his hole shouting and squealing that it may be a good proxy, I thought I better take a look, if only to stop the neighbours complaining... There is a big temptation for getting my Tomb King army match fit for the release of The Old World. ( Assuming that the unit roster and base sizes will be similar to 8th edition ). When I saw the photo of it, I immediately recognised that it was, in fact, a great model to represent a Necrolith Colossus armed with a Bow of the Desert. The Giants of Albion dont have a great vocabulary, their war cry  tends to be their name with the inference being that whatever their gaze has hit, now is theirs and not for sharing with any other giants. This was during the period GW was using the minis for the box art Summary These models are now over 20 years old. To my knowledge they first appeared in the 2002 Warhammer Annual as a Regiment of Renown for the Dogs of War army. The regiment or "unit" consisted of two giants (Cachtorr & Bologs) and a level 1 Wizard of the Lore of Beasts (Hengus) that cost 450 points and they counted as two Rare Units. Giants where not very common at the time so they where really quite different.  The Giants also appear later in the same annual in an article called 'The Big Bash' although they are used as stand alone giants in a four way ...
