Warhammer 40k - Adeptus Mechanicus Welcome to Mars Grombrindal  Welcome to Mars!   Such a rare occurrence must be noted. However today we have a new adept in the cult mechanicus, Grombrindal! The White Dwarf himself has joined us, with his faithful servitor the Black Gobbo coming along too! To view the snazzy launch video click here  The Fat Dwarf is currently apoplectic at the thought of Grombrindal joining such a ridiculous hold such as Mars. However I think he just has some serious “Axe Envy”!  To read the full article on Warhammer community click  here Remember and subscribe FIRESTORM GAMES GOBLIN GAMING   As promised we are trying to add relative links for OZ/NZ, Canada and the USA as I know much of you Beardlings are in fact based in our sister nations. Scenery - Walls

Fantasy Terrain: Walls  I always have some little bit of terrain to finish off sitting on the painting table, with these walls I thought id try and get ten ready for some Warhammer Fantasy this summer, they would also be useful for the planned Mordheim Campaign we were hoping to get into in 2016. Subtle hues of different shades create the effect. I first gave everything a coat of black primer (out of a tub as this came with static grass already applied so I couldn't use sprays), then I highlighted and dry brushed up to a light grey. I then used an ink to add a general shade to the wall. I think this gives the stone a subtle variation but allows for quick painting. Other effects such as the rust effect and clump foliage I have used previously are also used here, I do this so that I get the unified table effect I'm going for. I picked out some of the stonework in subtle shades then gave the whole lot a final highlight of the same light grey. Imperial Halb...

Scenery - Brewery Stills

Fantasy Terrain: Stills Another item I have been working on for the Mordheim / Fantasy set of terrain that I have been adding to. I am really happy with the bronzed effect on these. I am hoping to use it in our Next Necromunda Campaign as well as as a Dwarven terrain piece in Fantasy or Mordheim. I added a little bit of citadel "effects" to the cracks to give the extra green goo pooling and glooping down the outside of the still. The Subtle silvering was a build up of a dry brush of GW's latest metallics range, of which I must say i was very impressed with the bronze and copper effect. Contrast between the shiny copper effect and the matt silver effect is rather satisfying. I held off the rust effect on this particular piece, as no dwarf would be seen with rusty stills..  I look forward to using this as some sort of Dwarf objective or objective in our Outlanders Campaign, we could see it get some game time in the other lads Malifaux campaign. The Fat ...
