Warhammer 40k - Adeptus Mechanicus Chapter 10 Skorpius Dunerider Welcome to Mars! Gliding into the Forces of Mars is the Skorpius Dunerider. Whomever thought up this design - brilliant;   "Mars is a desert planet right boss?.... well why don't we give them some sort of hover-boat?!"  Quality shout from that GW design department goblin - and it totally worked, I love it! This transport vehicle can deliver units of infantry to key points on the battlefield. My unit of Skitarii Vanguard will be hitching a lift in this beauty and hopefully secure an objective while being supported by the Dunerider 's cognis heavy stubbers. Crystal Codes for Element Games  RIC134  or  ROB8508 I've already submitted an order for a second Dunerider to the maufactorum . This one is earmarked for the transport of Electro-priests . I like the idea of the front ramp dropping down and these maniacs covered in electrical arcs pouring out into their enemies - yikes! Assembly Thi...

Hobby Review - Artist Opus Paintbrush Set Image from Element Games Website In May 2018 I noticed my favourite Wargaming retailers Element Games   were linked with a Kickstarter on some new high quality “artisan” paintbrushes. Now I'm no runesmith, but i do need a new set for updating my Book of Grudges, I have had to add an extra couple of pages to the "Gildoren" section. I was about to purchase a set of Windsor and Newton Series 7s, However, after looking into it I thought it may be a good idea to put my money into this Kickstarter instead. This Kickstarter also allowed me to purchase a second set for my cheeky little sidekick The Tabletop Hobbit at a competitive price (£85 for two sets), and the quick fulfilment and delivery time frame sealed the deal for me!    you can find a link to the original Kickstarter here... All sets on the Kickstarter came complete with the following: Size 000 Brush Size 00 Brush Size 0 Brush Size 1 Brush 3ml of Brush Soap and becau...

A Tale of Lockdown Gamers The Cricket Club Knights - Prologue The Premise Way back before many of you Beardlings where even a glint in your fathers eye, an epic adventure was told in the hallowed pages of White Dwarf 218-223 (UK issues), under the venerable Editor "Fat Bloke" four members of the studio team underwent a challenge. That challenge was a monthly buy-build-paint-game challenge called the Tale of 4 Gamers. The article series is a seminal series for White Dwarf and was copied in multiple systems throughout the life of the magazine, indeed right up until recently. I do suggest you look it up. Its worth a wee google search. In the original series monthly purchases where restrained by a £25 financial limit, with the slow grow of the armies then reported within the monthly article series. It was hugely popular, We saw grudges develop between generals, different styles of painting and narrative elements in the games that were eluded to in articles, but more easily conve...
