Warhammer Fantasy - Chaos Warriors Tzeentch Battle Standard Conversion Once a Knight of the Lady, he fell into darkness and on into the intense spectrum of Tzeentch's embrace. Build    The base of this model is the Exalted Hero of Chaos model with the long bladed spear. This has been replaced by a chaos banner and the normal head selections discarded in favour of a Chaos Warriors helmet adapted to have a pair of appropriately Tzeentch style wings which were spare from a 40k Dark Angels command sprue. Paint    Painting started with a flat undercoat of Citadel Chaos black spray. We tend to buy this from either Goblin Gaming (First Link) or Element Games, But we occasionally use Wayland Games too.   Warhammer Fantasy Tomb Kings - Tomb King in a Chariot When the Tomb King goes to war he likes to travel in style. Build The bulk of the model is a basic chariot that has a couple of easily modeled conversions. The blade on the front has been replaced with the blade from a Sepulchral Stalker and a cobra emblem front the Necrosphinx/Warsphinx box set added to the top of the yoke. The Tomb King also comes from the Warsphinx box. This model is set in a pose where his right leg is at angle as if he is stepping up. If you are using him in the Warsphinx or on foot then this is no problem as there are parts on the sprue that accommodate this. I simply had him rest his foot on a skull. It's not usually visible but it was an easy fix and nicely in theme for a Tomb King! When I want to get painting something quickly - I go to my Tomb Kings! P aint Spray brown undercoat the entire model....and apply a thin layer of black to all metal parts. I used Mournfang Bro
